Africa is about nineteen months old now and is full of personality. Her language is developing quickly and her physical skills are keeping us on our toes. Her favourite activity is to throw herself off sofas, beds and climbing frames regardless of how hard the surface is beneath her. You'd have thought that she would have learnt by now that this strategy can be painful, but she appears to have no fear. It's terrifying.
Lots of new words have appeared in her vocabulary. Her favourites are "up" (pick me up!), "ka ka" (give me a cuddle) and "hug" (give me a hug). She loves to turn on the music in
Stella's and her room "mi mi" and to be read books "bu". Probably her clearest words are "no" and "water" - both of which cannot be mistaken. Also "me" as in me too. Yesterday she amazed us by counting along up to ten and this morning seemed to be imitating the names of the months with Stella. She learns a lot from her sister.
She still has an incredibly loud screech - I think you can imagine it from looking at this picture:

But she is also very smiley. She loves going to the park and being outside. Here she is in Springfield park:

Africa also experienced her first snow this month. It was London snow so it came and went in about two hours, but it was lots of fun nonetheless.
